The Really Simple Positioning Move

Join us for what will hopefully be a spirited run down the West Coast Main Line (WCML) behind 37403 ‘ Isle of Mull’ as we return our coaching stock to Carnforth. We are pleased to offer this opportunity at perhaps never to be repeated bargain prices!

Climb aboard our charter at Stratford at what will be a very sociable mid morning start time and sit back whilst we negotiate our way to Wembley Reception sidings. Our route will see us travel via Lea Junction, Canonbury, Camden Road and Primrose Hill before joining the WCML.  We recess at Wembley to detach locomotives from the rear of the train before our journey north.

Our route will be via Milton Keynes Central, Northampton, Rugby, Coventry, Birmingham International (set down), Bescot and then north via Stafford to Crewe where our train will terminate. Arrival in Crewe is expected late afternoon.

We haven’t added anything elaborate and hope that our path north will be as expedient as possible. This really is an opportunity for some high speed running behind a class 37 – signalers willing!
